Fresh Mani Friday

It's a little late but better late than never. I've been sick with a cold and finally felt a bit better today to fix my nails.

I started by removing my polish and filing my nails.

Next, to remove any dead skin I used this Instant Cuticle Remover which is my favorite. Apply it to your cuticles and leave it on for a minute or two. Then gently push back your cuticles with the wooden cuticle pusher. Wipe the nail off with a cotton ball to leave a clean surface for to polish.

After prepping my nails I applied a base coat to protect them from staining. This one from Revlon is great and not too expensive. The CND Sticky Base Coat is a really good one too but is a lot more expensive. I've been using this one for a while now since I go through base coats really quick. ;)

Once my base coat was dry I applied two thin coats of this silvery polish from Revlon and allowed drying time in between coats. Tip: Leave a small border around your cuticles for easier clean up and a more professional looking manicure.

Lately I've been obsessed with these opal effect nail polishes and love applying them on top of any polish for a sparkly glow. I applied a thin coat of this polish from Loreal once my silver polish was dry. It wasn't very noticeable with the silver as a base but I left it anyways.

Finally! I applied my absolute favorite top coat to seal everything in. I have tried many different top coats and keep going back to this one. It makes my polish dry fast and last longer. You can't beat the price of this product it's under $4 and works great!

Finished manicure!

Until next time! Xoxo -Andrea-
