Soft Shimmery Holiday Look

This soft shimmery look is perfect for the Holiday's! The tutorial for this look is up on my youtube channel so click the link to check it out.

*The products used in the video are a little different since it was my second time filming it. I took these pictures when I filmed the tutorial the first time but the outcome was the same both times. Enjoy!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEp4OQV5W-w

************************************************************

Start by applying a soft pink base to your lid only don't apply this in the crease. This one from Jordana "Pink Evermore" is very sparkly and will give you some fall out so you might want to do your foundation afterwards. I found these at Walgreens and LOVE them!

Next, apply "Sin"from UD NAKED palette where you applied to base with a flat brush. This shadow works best if your press it on the lid instead of dragging the brush.

Next I applied the left shimmery taupe shadow from Wet & Wild "Comfort Zone Palette" in my crease and blended it out. Then I blended in a little bit of "Naked" from UD NAKED  in the crease to define it a bit more. To darken my outer "V" I used "Nutty" from Wet & Wild to add some more dimension to my eyes.

To finish the eyes I applied Makeup Geek's  "Shimma Shimma" to my brow bone and lightly lined my top lash line with "Creep" from UD Naked . I also used Benefit "They're Real" and applied the Ardell "Demi Whispies" lashes.

For my face I used a full coverage foundation Estee Lauder's "Double Wear" and applied Benefit "That Gal" brightening face primer underneath the foundation for a glow. Next I applied the Maybelline "Age Rewind Concealer" under my eyes in a triangle, in the center of my forehead, down the bridge of my nose and a little on my chin and blended it out with my fingers. To cover some breakouts I used MAC "Studio Fix Concealer" to cover those nasty little guys. lol

*I also filled in my brows with Anastasia Brow Powder Duo

To set the skin I used my Maybelline "Dream Matte" and warmed up my skin with Physicians Formula "Bronze Booster. Then Cover Girl in "" to add a natural glowy flush cheek and Benefit "High Beam" to my cheekbones.

Finished by lining my lips with  Rimmel liner in "Rose Quartz"and Rimmel Lipstick in "Airy Fairy."

*This lipstick is so pretty and completes the whole look!

Happy Holidays!!!!

Fresh Mani Friday

Hi everyone and Happy Friday! Today's mani is very simple and sparkly!

I recently purchased these two Revlon polishes and couldn't wait to use them. First off I started by applying a thin coat of "Sinful Color Base Coat" and let it dry. Then, I used "Plum Seduction" for a base color and after that dried I applied two coats of "Girly" the glitter polish on top.
The polish has pieces of purple, fuchia and soft pinkish lavender glitter chunks.
*Close up with flash
To seal everything in I applied two coats of "Salley Hansen Insta Dri Top Coat." Applying the two coats gave the illusion of rocks under water and added a beautiful shine.

Happy Friday! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Xoxo -Andrea-

Fresh Mani Friday

It's a little late but better late than never. I've been sick with a cold and finally felt a bit better today to fix my nails.

I started by removing my polish and filing my nails.

Next, to remove any dead skin I used this Instant Cuticle Remover which is my favorite. Apply it to your cuticles and leave it on for a minute or two. Then gently push back your cuticles with the wooden cuticle pusher. Wipe the nail off with a cotton ball to leave a clean surface for to polish.

After prepping my nails I applied a base coat to protect them from staining. This one from Revlon is great and not too expensive. The CND Sticky Base Coat is a really good one too but is a lot more expensive. I've been using this one for a while now since I go through base coats really quick. ;)

Once my base coat was dry I applied two thin coats of this silvery polish from Revlon and allowed drying time in between coats. Tip: Leave a small border around your cuticles for easier clean up and a more professional looking manicure.

Lately I've been obsessed with these opal effect nail polishes and love applying them on top of any polish for a sparkly glow. I applied a thin coat of this polish from Loreal once my silver polish was dry. It wasn't very noticeable with the silver as a base but I left it anyways.

Finally! I applied my absolute favorite top coat to seal everything in. I have tried many different top coats and keep going back to this one. It makes my polish dry fast and last longer. You can't beat the price of this product it's under $4 and works great!

Finished manicure!

Until next time! Xoxo -Andrea-

October & November Favorites

 Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

I've been reaching non stop for this foundation for the past two months. It's medium to full coverage and has a velvety matte finish. This makes my skin look flawless without looking thick and cakey. I LOVE it! Oh in case your wondering what shade I use I'm the color Sand.

Jordana Eyeshadow Pencil- Almond

I've been using this as a eyelid base for the past two months. It has a pinkish undertone so it helps cover the little veins and discoloration on my eyelids. It last all day and does not crease up on me. You can find these at Walgreens for $3.99.

Wet & Wild Comfort Zone Palette

All of these shadows are really nice and smooth. The pigmentation is great and it's a really affordable palette ($4-$5). It's a great price and you can create lots of different looks with these color. You can't go wrong with this.

Makeup Geek Shadows

I am absolutely in LOVE with these! They are in my daily routine and I have been mixing these with my Wet & Wild palette. I'm obsessed! Lol

Urban Decay Gloss-Midnight Cowbowy, Rimmel Lip Liner-Natural, Mary Kay Lipstick-Sweet Nectar

This was my go to lip combo for October and November. It's a very peachy nude subtle look that is perfect for warm Fall/Autumn makeup looks.

Loreal Power Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner

I'm really BAD at taking care of my hair and dread using masks or multiple products to hydrate my thick hair. Since my hair is thick and curly it can sometimes feel coarse and dry. I've noticed a huge difference in the texture of my hair since using this. My hair feels a lot smoother and more hydrated. It also smells really good!

Cookies for Santa Candle (Walmart)

So let me begin by saying I'm a HUGE weirdo and have a very BIG obsession with candles lol. This has been burning non stop from the minute I get home till my bedtime (it's actually on right now as I'm tying this). It smells so good just like sugar cookies. I didn't have this the whole month but still had to include it. These are only $4 at Walmart and the container makes a great brush holder once it's all gone.

Until next time! Xoxo
