Current Makeup Bag Favorites

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share some of my favorite makeup products from this past month and a half. I try to switch up my daily makeup bag every month or so to make sure I'm using all of my makeup and not just letting things sit there and go to waste. Makeup is too expensive to let it go to waste! Lol

Eye Products:
MAC Paint Pot "Soft Ochre"
This eye base is very long wearing and has a yellow undertone. A little goes a long way and covers any discoloration or veins on your lids.

Pop Goes The Shadow "Champagne"

This shadow is incredibly creamy and smooth. It adds a beautiful glow to the lids and I've been wearing it every day for the past month. I guess I'm a bit obsessed with it at the moment!

Wet & Wild "Brulee"
This eyeshadow is ALWAYS in my makeup bag. It is a soft vanilla matte shadow and works perfect for my brow bone highlight. It is close to my skin tone and looks very natural. Did I mention it's under $3! Can't get any better than that!

Wet & Wild Idol Eyes "Pixie"
This product provides a pretty glow. I only use it on the inner corner of my eyes to make them appear more open and awake. However, I find that this product creases when used all over the lid.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Pencil "Black Velvet"

This liner is very black and opaque. It is also very creamy which makes it an ideal pencil for smudging or smokey eye looks.

Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara

This is my "Holy Grail" mascara! I have been using this for many years and it has never failed me. It is a wet formula at the beginning but the more you use it the better it gets. This also adds volume and length to my lashes and is under $6! No need for a high end mascara... save yourself some money and try this one out!

Face:

Benefit "The POREfessinal"
I received this tiny sample in an Ipsy glam bag and love it. It really does minimize the appearance of my pores and makes my skin look smooth. The only thing I don't like is the strong floral scent... other than that I love it and will be purchasing the full size.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer "Light"
This product is another frequent visitor to my makeup bag. I love how lightweight it is and how well it covers any darkness under my eyes and also add brightness. As you can tell I use this a lot! I am going to be needing a replacement really soon. :)

PUR 4in1 Pressed Mineral Makeup Foundation "Porcelain"

I LOVE THIS! The weather is really starting to heat up here in South Texas and liquid foundation is just not going to work for me. I am a normal to dry skin gal, but when you live somewhere that is hot as HELL there is no such thing. No matter what I put on my face it's going to melt even if my skin is normal/dry. Mineral makeup is great for hot weather since it's lightweight and in powder form. I've tried Bare Minerals before but had an allergic reaction to it... so after much research on mineral makeup I found this one. It's a medium build able coverage and feels very light on the skin.

NYX Blush "Taupe"
This is a rediscovered product that was at the bottom of my drawer. It has cool undertones and does not look orange when applied which makes it a perfect contouring product for fair skin tones. The only thing I would recommend is applying this with a very light hand and blending it well. It can look a tiny bit muddy if applied to heavily.

Cover Girl Blush "Soft Mink"
Another oldie but goodie! I really like wearing this blush on a daily basis. It's just easy to wear and goes with almost any makeup look. It also has a slight shimmer to it which gives a very soft healthy glow to the skin and a hint of color. Looks great on fair skin tones and would probably be more of a highlight for darker skin tones.

Wet & Wild Mega Glo "Catwalk Pink"
I'm so beyond OBSESSED with this product! I loved it the minute I tried it on and rushed back to the store to buy the other colors. It adds a hint of pink to the cheeks and a very subtle glow. Looks great layered on top of another blush or on it's own.

Lips:
This has been my favorite lip color combination for the past month and a half. I should probably change it up but it looks very youthful and summery. :)
StarLooks Lip Pencil "Naked"
This pencil glides on smoothly and is so creamy and opaque. On my skin tone it looks like a dark peach.

Wet & Wild Lipstick "Just Peachy"

These lipsticks are amazing! They are very opaque and are so affordable under $2. Perfect color for spring/summer.

Revlon Lip gloss "Belini"

I top everything off with this milky peach nude gloss. These glosses are very nice and not too sticky. It's also very opaque and looks great on it's own for a more nude lip color.

For those of you who read the whole blog and made it this far here is a picture of what all these products look like on. ;) I'm wearing everything that is listed above.

Until next time!
Xoxo- Andrea
