❤ColourPop Haul & Swatches❤

First off, I was very impressed with how well the products were packaged. The box had several layers of foam around the entire box to keep the products secure.

 "Queen for a day Palette"

This palette caught my eye for it's soft neutral shades. I wanted to purchase something more "wearable" first just to test out these shadows. All four shades are packaged individually in little pots. The textures of these is very different, they feel like a soft cream shadow but dry to a powder finish. On the packaging it also says to seal the jar well after use... so I believe these can dry out if left open. Below are all of the shades individually.

 Girly
"Creamy vanilla with a flash of pink and gold duo chrome finish."

 Sequin
"A copper penny like shade with silver and gold glitter."

 Smash
"Neutral medium warm beige with a soft golden satin finish."

 Shameless
"Black drizzled with multiple shades of green and subtle hints of blue and gold glitter leaving a metallic finish."
Bae
"Rich eggplant purple with an emerald, and turquoise, glittery duo chrome metallic finish."

I also purchased a single shadow... I just had to get my hands on this one, it's gorgeous!!!

 So Quiche
"A soft olive with a highly reflective gold and pink violet glittery duo chrome metallic finish."

Swatches of all of the shadows

*No primer, no flash, natural light.

These "Lippie Stix's" are so cute!!! I've seen them all over social media and knew I needed to give them a try. They're also really affordable and come in a wide variety of colors!

I love the practicality of the packaging.
They remind me of a marker or large pen which makes them easier to store in drawers.

Fancy
"Neutral mid tone coral in a satin finish."
Frida
"A warm mid tone nude pink with a satin finish."

These satin finish lipsticks feel very comfortable on the lips and are very opaque. They also smell divine, like sweet vanilla or sugar cookies.

Can't wait to try out all of these products!
I have a feeling that I will soon be purchasing more of these lovely products to add to my makeup collection.

Until next time. Xoxo-Andrea

Tarte Away Oui Go Portable Collector Set- Review & Swatches

With the holiday's fast approaching I thought I would share my thoughts on one of Tarte's holiday collections. This set is really beautiful and in my opinion the price point is very reasonable considering the quality and amount of products included.
For video review click on the link:
Tarte Away Oui Go Review & Swatches

Tarte Away Oui Go Portable Collector's Set
$48

Set includes:
  • 16 full size, French-inspired Amazonian Clay Eye Shadows (0.07 oz. each)
  • 4 full size Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blushes
  • 3 deluxe Maracuja Lip Glosses
  • Deluxe Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara
  • Portable collector's compact

This portable palette is so cute!
The top is faux leather which makes it easy to clean and it has a nice quilted pattern with pearl detailing. The bottom is a sturdy cardboard and it also has a nice mirror.

It's also portable so you can switch it up and take it on the go.
I love that the palette's don't fall out and have a strong magnet to keep them in place.

I love these shadows and how easy they are to blend. They are all neutral shades but at the same time you can create many different looks. Easy daytime to smokey nighttime looks. What I love the most is that there is a great variety of shades for different skins tones especially the blushes. You are sure to find something that will work for you in this set.

First Palette

Intrigue- (Blush)

For me these next products weren't as much as a hit. I can still make them work but they were not my favorites in the set.

First up let's talk about the mascara.
I LOVE mascara and enjoy trying different formulas and brushes. This one is not bad but it's not my favorite. I still prefer my drugstore one to this. It has a nice brush and the packaging is really nice and sturdy.
This formula tends to smudge but that could just be me since I've been having that problem lately with my other mascaras. I really like how this brush separates my lashes for a more natural look but it doesn't provide the fullness and volume I prefer.

Now for the glosses, the shades included in this set are really nice but I don't like the sticky texture. However,  they do have a refreshing mint scent to them which I love in lip products and they are nicely pigmented.

(Left to Right)
Nice (nude mauve), Cannes (light pink), Paris (raspberry)

Overall I think this is a wonderful set that would make a lovely addition to any makeup lovers collection!
The price is amazing and the quality of the products is incredible.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and found it helpful.
Until next time!
